As November arrives, it’s hard to believe that we’re already nearing the end of another wonderful year at ELC. Time has flown by since the start of the year, and we’ve had the joy of seeing so many students grow, learn, and create lasting memories together. From new friendships to exciting classroom projects and special events, our school community has truly flourished. We look forward to all the learning and celebrations still to come.

Our Students' Activities
🎃 ELC Halloween Party 2025 – A Spooktacular Success! 👻
We had a school classroom transformed into a Haunted Classroom for the annual ELC Halloween Party and what a frightfully fun time it was. The hallways were filled with spooky decorations, glowing pumpkins, and the sounds of laughter (and a few playful screams!). Students came dressed in their most creative costumes from cartoon characters to ghosts. Everyone joined in the fun as they explored the Haunted Classroom Tour, where a classroom hid eerie surprises and mysterious characters. Of course, no Halloween party is complete without treats — and our snack table was bursting with spooky sweets and snacks. 🍬
Mingle over coffee
Our students recently enjoyed a relaxed afternoon out at a local café, sharing laughs and conversations over coffee. It was a chance to take a break from studies, connect, and enjoy the warm, welcoming atmosphere. Moments like these remind us that learning and community go hand in hand and sometimes the best conversations happen over a cup of coffee.
Casual Meals
Student activities at the ELC aren’t always outdoor events; sometimes they’re simply about relaxing and enjoying each other’s company. Recently, our students gathered for a casual evening filled with good food, friendly conversation, and a few lively rounds of pool. It was the perfect opportunity to unwind, connect, and make memories together outside the classroom.
Announcement on Malaysia’s revised 6% SST
Under the revised Malaysia Sales and Service Tax (SST) rules came into effect on July 1 2025, a 6% service tax will apply to private education services provided to non-Malaysian students. This includes preschools, schools, colleges, universities, and language centres, although public education remains fully exempt.
Please note, we will include the 6% SST on all course fees i.e. materials, tuition, and student visa fees (except accommodation cost) starting from 1 September 2025.
