🌞 Wrapping Up an Unforgettable Summer at ELC Malaysia

As summer draws to a close, so does this year’s ELC Malaysia Summer Camp Programme and what an incredible journey it has been.
Over the few months, we’ve welcomed students from all over the world, each bringing their own stories, cultures, and personalities to our vibrant classrooms. Together, they explored new ideas, built confidence in their language skills, and formed friendships that will last far beyond the summer. From lively lessons to hands-on activities and cultural excursions, our campers embraced every challenge and opportunity with curiosity and enthusiasm. We are truly grateful to have been part of their learning adventure, and proud to see how much each student has grown both in skills and in spirit.
To our campers, thank you for bringing your energy, laughter, and determination to ELC Malaysia. You have made this summer unforgettable. Until we meet again, keep learning, keep exploring, and keep shining!

Warm regards,
The ELC Team

A Huge Cheer for our ELC Summer Camp Teachers

From early morning hellos to the final day’s smiles, you brought the sunshine to our Summer Camp Programmes rain or shine! Your enthusiasm turned lessons into adventures, and your passion made every activity sparkle. Thanks for packing this summer with learning, laughter, and the kind of memories that make students wish camp could last all year 😊

A warm welcome to our newest ELC Students

This September, we’re excited to welcome a new batch of international students from Japan, South Korea, People’s Republic of China, Thailand, Yemen and Saudi Arabia, joining us in the Bukit Bintang Campus. Over the coming months, we’ll learn together, share experiences, and celebrate the unique journey each student is beginning here. Let’s make this time one to remember!

Our Students’ Activities

The Sea Monkey Project – Doing Our Part for the Environment

Our young students explored the impact of plastic waste left in the ocean and were taught what we can do to make a difference. As a part of a Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) awareness session, they learnt about upcycling and how discarded plastics can be transformed into colorful, creative beads. It was a fun and meaningful way to combine awareness, sustainability, and hands-on creativity.

Hiking Trip - A Refreshing Escape from City Life

Our students took a well-deserved break from the city’s hustle and bustle with a hiking trip not too far from the city. The trail offered an easy and enjoyable walk through nature, ending with a refreshing stop at a waterfall. It was the perfect way to relax, recharge, and be reminded of how easy it is to step away and enjoy the outdoors.

At The Baseball Batting Cages

Our students enjoyed some friendly competition at the in-door sports and baseball batting cages! The day was filled with squeals of excitement, roaring laughter, and plenty of action as everyone joined in the fun.

Announcement on Malaysia’s revised 6% SST

Under the revised Malaysia Sales and Service Tax (SST) rules came into effect on July 1 2025, a 6% service tax will apply to private education services provided to non-Malaysian students. This includes preschools, schools, colleges, universities, and language centres, although public education remains fully exempt.
Please note, we will include the 6% SST on all course fees i.e. materials, tuition, and student visa fees (except accommodation cost) starting from 1 September 2025.
